Twilight

I went and saw Twilight Friday with Scott and a bunch of friends. I have to say that I LOVED it! I was afraid I wouldn't like it because of all the hype and things I was hearing from the people that went to the midnight showing. I knew it wasn't going to exactly fit the book (what movie really ever does? besides how could they fit a 500 page book into a 100 page script!!) and I also knew that I couldn't take it too seriously. I really enjoyed it. I can't believe it was a two hour movie because it seemed like 15 minutes! I felt like a giddy little school girl and was so excited to see Edward (what do you mean Edward isn't real!!:)) stop the van before it squished Bella and Edward sparkling in the sun (I do wish that the meadow scene was a bit longer though). Scott really enjoyed the movie as well. I caught him reading Twilight the other day and now he is almost finished. He even wants to go see the movie again! I wouldn't mind seeing it again (if I had time!). I think I will buy it when it comes out on DVD. I'm really excited to see how New Moon and Eclipse will turn out. I can't wait and all the characters fit their parts well (some did have to kind of grow on me). The countdown is on for New Moon!!!!!!

Halloween 2008

I look forward to Halloween every year. It has been one of my favorite holiday's for as long as I can remember. I took the day off from work and went to the kids Halloween parade at school. A lot of the kids costumes were very creative. Marley was the (mini) Wicked Witch of the West and Ethen was the Grim Reaper. Scott was a Hillbilly and I was the Wicked Witch of the West. And our Nephew Jace (in the background) was Peter Pan.

What Year Do You Belong

You Belong in 1956
You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!

Sorry Kels, had to steal this from your blog!

Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point

We went to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point last night. We did the corn maze and let the kids play around. It was pretty fun, but COLD! Mark, Melanie and Jace went with us. It's kind of a tradition for Scott and I to take the kids and go. It's a bit pricey, but the kids had a great time. We got our pumpkins there also, there will be more pics of those when we get them carved.

Crazy Hair Day

This whole week has been Red Ribbon week for the kids at school. Each day this week they got to do something different. Yesterday was crazy hair day.

Marley's day at McDonalds with the Lehi Fire Dept.

Marley and Ethen did a fundraiser for school and Marley ended up selling a whole bunch of stuff! She got 2nd place out of the whole school. Her class gets a pizza party, but yesterday she got to go with 4 other kids (two of them were from her class) and go on a firetruck with the Lehi Fire Dept. and have lunch at Mcdonalds with her principal. Crafty, Crafty, Crafty

I've been getting super crafty lately. Why you ask have I all of the sudden become so crafty I can't stand myself?? Well, for those of you that know me you know that I can't sit still. I've got too many projects going on all at the same time, but I can't help it. I have to keep busy. And yes, some of my projects I do at work:) Here are a few of the things I've been working on:

I got this vinyl rub on from Stampin' Up! I think
it turned out really cute.

I got this ghost idea from someone elses blog. Super
easy to make.

This is called a Treasure Box. I got the template
from Sabrina. I've still got to do the embelishments
on it, but I think it turned out very cute.

This is what the Treasure Box looks like when
you open it.

These are nugget boxes. I used my cute Halloween
paper. I'm excited to give them out to friends.

Here is one of the boxes close up.

Look at how many I did! I was sitting at work
yesterday and couldn't stop making them.
