Sunshine Butterfly Wing Necklace:)
I've been wanting this necklace for a very long time! Finally it's in my hot little hands:) Georgia (aka Gyspywings) made this and the second I saw this in her Etsy store I wanted it. It's a real butterfly wing. Don't worry, the butterfly died of natural causes. Isn't this beautiful? I LOVE her jewelry and photographs. She does such an amazing job! She took some photos of me a couple of weeks ago (too bad I didn't have the necklace then!) and once I get them I will post a couple of them so you can check out how well I can clean up! Anyway, I think I've posted on here before about her Etsy store. Her shop is closed right now cause everything is headed to TwiCon. But if you ever get the chance check her out. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5068559

First off I have to say Cassie is unbelievable! She is so awesome I can't even put it into words. I ran across her Etsy shop when I was looking for party favors for the Twilight Party. I found the cutest pendant (I use to be normal...until I read Twilight!) and ordered them for the party. Everyone LOVED them. And she gave me a great deal. I ordered some more from her for birthday gifts for my sis-in-laws. They all turned out great. She even sent me one for my birthday! She is super easy to work with and has a deal where you buy two get one free. She has metal ones, scrabble tiles, bookmarks, Twilight inspired and chains to put them on:) Please visit Cassie's store! She is so great. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6551819

The Lion and the Lamb
I really LOVE this song. It's by Laura Serafine who is part of the Twilight Music Girls. It's just such a pretty song:)

Okay, I can handle this 30 thing
So I had my Thirtieth birthday yesterday. It has been an interesting weekend for sure! Scottward and I went to Strawberry Res all day on Saturday. It was pretty fun, got a little burned and didn't catch any fish, but it was nice just to get out on the lake:) It was really peaceful. Then Sunday we had breakfast with my birthday twin Nikki! Love her. Her family is so cute. Then Sunday afternoon we went to Wendover (little gambling town on the border of Utah and Nevada for those that don't know). Had a lot of fun, but didn't win anything! All while we are doing this I'm thinking about how I'm dreading my thirtieth birthday and how I can't believe my twenties's are ending. Then I remember how when I was a little girl in elementary school my teachers were "so old". Yeah right, they were more then likely in their late twenties or early thirties. Maybe even late thirties. That freaked me out a little bit more. Today I wake up after I've turned thirty and honestly I'm glad that I'm the age I am. I refuse to worry about it any more. For 1, I'm glad I have sucessfully made it to 30. I'm glad for all the expirences that I've had in my twenties, some of them bad, and some of them good. It made me a little wiser. I'm glad that I have left my twenties behind. I feel like it was a rite of passage that is done and over with. Scott was telling me that I was going to turn into a pumpkin at midnight, but I'm still here. I think that I also learned that time flies by so quickly. I need to slow down and enjoy life and look forward toward the next decade. Even if it means "getting old":)

Hi, my name is Jasmine and I'm a Twilight Addict

First off, as I've said before, I'm not ashamed that I love Twilight! It's a personal choice. It's just like loving baseball (has anyone seen Fever Pitch? Jimmy Fallon's character is OBSESSED!) or loving a band or musician (my Aunt admitted to me that she still has her Billy Ray Cyrus poster from back in the day. And I know more then a few people will remember NKOTB) or how people out there love TV shows (hello anyone heard of Trekies and while I'm at it I'll admit that too, I love The Next Generation!). Now, with that said, I bought the Sexy Stars of Twilight magazine yesterday. Give me a load of crap if you want. I did it for the man candy. I called my Aunt Annette that works at Rite-aid and told her "If you get the magazine with Rob/Edward on it can you please hold me a copy?" Her response was "Who?". I had to explain it to her "It's like when you loved Richard Grieco so many years ago" then she got the idea. So yesterday I checked with her to see if they got it in and they did:) I had a dentist appointment yesterday afternoon so I decided that I would run over to Rite-aid before the appointment to get it. I get there and all Annette can do is roll her eyes at me. Then there are these two little girls on scooters (they were probably 10 or 11) behind me in line. All they can do is snicker and look at me like I'm a circus freak. So embarrassing! Go to the dentist (it's for my last three bottom invisalign trays so I'm super excited) for my appointment and I sit there forever...probably 30 mintues and it's a 5 minute appointment (I'm really dying to get out to my car and read the twiporn). I left the dentist and got home and decided I would leave the magazine in the car cause my purse isn't big enough to sneak it in. Finally I decided that I had to bring it in. Scott (who I have now started affectionatley refering to as Scottward) was SUPER annoyed. I got a picture of his reaction, but he took the camera with him today when he went FISHING (did I mention he is obsessed with fishing?!)! Anyway, he starts saying things like "Why are you going out buying that stuff?" or my favorite "I thought you were on the down hill not at the peak with your obsession?" and last but not least "How would you feel if I went out and bought a Maxim or another magazine with pretty girls in it?" Go right ahead honey! I totally encouraged him to oogle Alice (I LOVE HER:)) or Rosalie. And this is all coming from a man who has his own obsession with fishing! I'm not quite ready for an intervention or a 12 step program...yet. Maybe I'll just introduce myself cause admitting is the first step! Hello everyone, my name is Jasmine and I am a Twilight addict:)

What decade do you belong in?
This is what I got:
You're the 40s!
The 1940's were dominated by World War II that bought death and distruction. But it was also the start of big band and jazz music that included artists such as Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. The people danced to the jitterbug and wore Zoot Suites. It was the era of Heyday movies that starred actors like Cary Grant and Elizabeth Taylor. Congrats to you!

This is why people shouldn't drink and drive...
I've been a fan of the site Twilight Continues for a while. It has one of my fave fanfic's on it (Edge of Night...check it out! It rocks). Anyway, check out this story on her page:
http://twilightcontinues.blogspot.com/2009/06/june-19th-1986.html
It's a reminder why no one should drink and drive. Be responsible! I personally don't think I would want to lose my job, my life, or end someone else's life because I thought I could drive!
